| Beret Kittilsd was the first child of Kittil Nilsen Gronseth & Siri Karlsd Gren. Beret Kittilsd Gronseth married Ole Tollefson Flaget in 1826. As was customary Ole Tollefson Flaget took the farm name Gronseth when they lived on that farm. Kittil Kittilsen leased the farm for 2.5 lispund, and received the Royal deed in 1845 for 380 spd. and yearly land payment. He sold in 1846 to brother-in-law Ole Tollefson Gronseth. He had used Gren in many years. The farm, became in 1866 placed to 24 m�l (6 acres) cultivated, 11 m�l (3 acres) natural meadow. They fed 1 horse, 2 cows and 5 sheep, had wood for house use and 5 dozen a year to sell, some leaves, collected price for crops, wood and harbour 560 spd. Nothing for place. Ole Tollevsen sold from Tronlia in 1850 to Kittil Kittilsen - the farm he turned over in 1865 to his sons Tollev and Ole fro 700 spd. and folds, but in 1869 traveled Ole Tollefsen with his wife and youngest son to America. This same year received Kittil Olsen Vaslien the deed from their brothers for 1000 spd. Ole Tollevsen Gronseth sold from this part of Tronlia (Holding 3 Tronlia) in 1850 to Kittil Kittilsen Gronseth. He sold the year after for 100 spd. to John Johnson Ingebu. Halsten Reiersen Lie got the deed of Tronlia here for 200 spd. in 1873. He lived here with his family a time. Widow of his Helge Jensd. gave deed to Tronlia in 1900 for 500 kroner to Hellik G. Gr�nseth, that followed Gronseth. This portion became in 1866 2 acres crops, 3 m�l natural meadowland, fed 1 cow and 3 sheep, price for land 70 spd. Beret Kittilsd Gronseth & Ole Tollefson Gronseth traveled to America in 1869 with their children: Tollef Gronseth, Else Gronseth & Ole Gronseth. Ole Tollefson Gronseth was listed as one of the first oldest settlers to have died in the Otter Tail County area. | |||||||||||||||||||
