The Peter Kieffer Family Genealogy

Peter Keiffer was born circa 1730 in Germany. Peter married Dorothea Elizabetha Wintermeyer and settled in York County, PA. Peter's son, Peter Jr. married Anna Maria Magdelena Saylor and moved to Brothersvalley Township around 1790 and later, Greenville Township. Peter Jr. died on January 27, 1824 and is buried in Greenville Lutheran Cemetery, Greenville. His wife, Anna Marie, moved to Coschocton, OH after her husband's death.

The Keefer family history was researched by Mr. Brett Lindeman of Rochester, NY.

(3) George Keefer (b. 1804 d. September 10, 1895 Thayerville, Garrett Co., MD) m. Anna Maria Polly Gibler (daughter of John George and Elizabeth Gibler)
(4) Isreal Keefer (b. July 11, 1839 and d. May 16, 1925 Casselman, Upper Turkeyfoot, PA) m. Caroline Ringler had the following children:
