The Jacob Geibler Family Genealogy

Jacob Geibler was born circa 1745 in Germany. Jacob married Anna Gertraut Weinbrenner. Jacob and Anna moved to Brothersvalley Township sometime around 1800. Jacob died in 1813 and Anna died in 1810. They are buried in Brothersvalley. Jacob and Anna had 11 children and most survived to adulthood. The Gibler family later moved to Garrett County, MD, Ohio, Utah and Oregon.

(1) Jacob Geibler (b. circa 1745 d.1813 ) and Anna Gertraut Weinbrenner
(2) John George Gibler (b. July 05, 1781 d. 1832) m. Elizabeth ? and lived in Greenville Township
(3) Anna Maria Polly Gibler (b. May 27, 1810 d. May 04, 1879 Thayerville, Garrett County, MD) m. George Keefer (b. 1804 d. September 10, 1895 Thayerville, Garrett Co., MD) and had the following children:

  • Rebecca Keefer m. Gabriel Stevanus
  • Elizabeth Jeanette Keefer m. Levi Murray

  • James Franklin Keefer m. Rose Kratwurst
