The Jacob Hochstetler Family Genealogy

Jacob Hochsteter was born circa 1752 in Hamburg, Berks County, PA. Jacob was son of John Hochstetler and Catherine Hertzler. Jacob Hochstetler married Barbara Miller (See DJH). For more information, please read the Rev. Harvey Hostetler's book, The Descendants of Jacob Hochstetler, published 1911.

(1) Jacob Hochstetler (b. circa 1704 Canton Zurich, Switzerland) and Miss Lorentzbr> (2) John Hochstelter (b. circa 1749) and Catherine Hertzler (daughter of Jakob and Anna Hertzler)
(3) Jacob Hochstetler and Barbara Miller had the following children:

  • John Hostetler m. (1) Elizabeth Hinckle and (2) Elizabeth Stephonis (Stevanus)
  • Jacob Hostetler m. Mary Schultz
  • Peter Hostetler m. Catherine Wengard
  • Catherine Hostetler m. George Klingaman
