Hello! My name is Carol Hepburn and I am the host and creator of this Clan Ross Family Homepages.

My Great-grandmother was Margaret Ellen Ross, daughter or Jacob J. and Amanda J. Ross of Berlin Village, Somerset County, PA.  She is a  great-great-granddaughter of James and Susanna Ross of Stoneycreek Township, Somerset County, PA.   Margaret Ellen Ross married John Baer of Meyersdale, PA.  Their son, Lewis Emerson Baer married my grandmother, Mabel May Kennell of Garrett, PA.  My mother, Zola May Baer married my father, Roger Lee Buel, of Rockcreek Township, Wells County, IN in 1959. I was born on October 18, 1996 (no, I don't mind you knowing -- I am 34!)

My family includes my husband, David, our son, DJ, and five cats:  Samantha, Peanut, Junior, Jasmine, and Zachary.  

I have been working on my family history off-and-on for the past 10 years but have only recently begun documenting and preparing a written volume.   My family of PA surnames includes:  Baer, Boon, Hostetler, Kennell, Keefer, Murray, Ringler, and Ross. My IN and MD family of surnames includes:  Buel/Bull, Hime, Lytle, Walters, Wetzel, Wisehaupt, and Womers.

My hobbies include:  history (German and European - especially of the 17th and 18th centuries), art, genealogy, computers and the internet, homemaking, crafts, quilting, and gardening.
