Organization Description

The Electronics and Communications Engineering Society, prevalently known as the ECES, is a professional organization that caters specifically to the ECE students, Lasallian electronics hobbyists and those green-tattooed individuals who have always been fascinated by the wonders of electronics and communication technologies.
Being recognized as the Best Organization in the Lasallian Excellence Awards 2001 and 2003, and having been nominated as the Best Organization for 2002, the society has served the members by helping nurture their academic growth through tutorials, reviewer distribution, STRC lab access, and annual quiz bees. Moreover, it does its best to develop its members' skills through activities whose nature is of their interests like the annual sports fest, radio-training programs and computer- or electronics-related lectures. ECES has also served the community through its annual outreach activities through tie-ups with CSO and interschool interactions.

Vision-Mission

The Electronics and Communications Engineering Society of De La Salle University, an affiliate of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), is a united organization, powered by proactive Christian achievers, committed to the holistic development of its members through the integration of moral values in the pursuit of academic, technical, and service excellence.
As a seedbed, we initiate social change and transformation through active involvement in nation building as well as research and development for technological advancement. The ECE Society acknowledges its organizational landscaping, which aims to create a quality-oriented structure toward an optimum production. One of our chief priorities is to provide objective networking with all its members. Just as well, we seek to diversify intro areas wherein all members can apply their skills in electronics, telecommunications, and computers through value-driven activities being promoted by the organization.
Consistent with our strategy of offering a quality-committed service, we recognize the responsibility that our managerial operations contribute constantly to the factors that will benefit all members of the organization.
Guided with God and imbued with the Lasallian values, the process of developing individuals will be introduced to a new paradigm that will mold world-class achievers and innovators.
