May 1st, 1999

The group of six who arrived at Maywood park decided to split into two threesomes. Eric, Jim and Chris took off in the first group. Doug, Sam and Jeff followed in the second group. Hole two presented a problem for both Doug and Chris as they each got caught in a bushy tree for a panalty. Sam skidded into the sand for a panalty on hole three. The first deuces appear at hole four as Doug and Eric broke the ice. Hole six found Jim and Chris on the roof of a building as they did some climbing to retrieve discs. Jeff and Sam had a tough go at hole nine with another penalty for each. Jeff went for a climb to save another disc from the roof. Along the way Eric claimed another deuce at hole seven. After nine holes, only Eric had much to crow about with a 26. Doug and Jim had 31's, Sam 33, Chris 37 and Jeff 38.

The back nine played better for everyone as everybody started with two pars. Hole thirteen proved to be a nemesis for Chris as the small metal pole proved hard to hit. Eric scored a deuce on hole fifteen and seventeen while Doug and Sam deuced hole sixteen. Doug finished the round with a long deuce at eighteen to end the deuce parade. Eric's 54 was easily the best round of the Day. Doug and Jim tied on the back nine also to tie for the day with 59's. Wrapping up the scoring were Sam at 62, Chris with 72 and Jeff a 74.

Final plans were made for Spring 1999 Tourney to be help the next day.
