The usual post-tournament let down did not affect everyone as non-tournament players Rich, Jim and Jeff joined tourney winner Doug at JD Morgan. Jeff's cousin, also named Jeff, joined to group as score keeper to walk around and find out about disc golf. Doug had the best drive on hole one and converted a par into an early lead as every one else bogeyed. Pars and bogeys determined the leader as deuces were scarce. Rich claimed the only deuces of the front nine with double deuces a at the drinking fountains of hole seven and eight. Scores after nine were Rich 27, Doug 28, Jim 32 and Jeff 35.

Jim and Rich scored deuces with "grate" shots at hole eleven. Doug hit a long shot for a deuce at twelve. At the basketball support post of thirteen Rich slid a long slider up into the post for a very long deuce, to match Doug's, who had the closest drive to the post. Jim and Doug matched deuces at hole sixteen, hitting medium long shots to a tree. Rich closed the deuce parade, hitting a long approach at hole eighteen. Rich was counting his near misses, as he tallied a sterling 23 on the back nine to come in with a 50 total. Doug made it under par with a 53, leaving Jim at 59 and Jeff breaking 70 with a 69.
