My Friends
Associates come and go, however, my three dearest friends, Davassa, Santriece, and Wendy, have always stood beside me through thick and thin.
Davassa
Davassa and I met at Spirit Creek Middle School back in 1991 (6th grade).  I really can't remember just how we hooked up to be great friends, but it almost seems to have happened instantly, dispite my dislike of her in the 5th grade :o)  All throughout middle school, Davassa and I did a lot of crazy things that makes our childhood very memeberable.  The most funniest memory has to be the many "Slam" books she and I created in order to find out information ("dirt") on our fellow classmates.  For all of you who have no clue what a Slam book is, click here for a sample.  We also used to come up with secret names for ourselves and the boys that we were infatuated with.

Now, that we're both in college, I can say that our friendship bond has strenghtened as we have journeyed into adulthood.  We've seen each other at our very low, and high (as of now), we share secrets with each other that no one else would even understand, and we provide support and comfort for each other through tough times.  Davassa is a true confidant, and I couldn't imagine life without a friend like her!  :o)
Santriece
Santriece and I met in the 6th grade as well, but for some reason, we really didn't become good friends until the next year.  And, it was also that year that our friendship was put to the test.  She, Davassa and I used to constantly call each other names and fuss over silly stuff (like normal adolescents do). However, by the grace of God, we were able to talk things out and let bygones be bygones, and ever since then our friendship has strengthened over time.

We weren't able to attend the same high school, and at first, I was really worried about our friendship.  I was afraid that "old friends" would be placed on the back burner while new friends emerged.  Once again, by the grace of God, this concern of mine was proven wrong.  Like with Davassa, my friendship with Santriece has matured over the years and has developed into a type of "sisterhood."  We are always there for each other no matter how far apart we may be. :o)
