Wendy and I met at Jamestown Elementary School in 1989 (4th grade), however, our friendship did not begin at that time. For some reason or another, we could not stand each other. We hardly even knew each other but we hated each other :o) I remember when we had to share a seat together to watch a movie at school, and the whole time, we sat back to back, and did not even glance at each other.
Even though we met in 4th grade, we did not become true friends until 4 years later, and ever since then we have been the best of friends...with the minor exception of our senior year in high school when we grew apart for a couple of months. Even with the "falling out" we experienced, our friendship has stood the test of time. We now listen to each other's neverending problems about love, school, hair turning green (Wendy) and faith. :o) She's a true friend!
