Grambling State University has nineteen (19) residence centers, eleven (11) female, seven (7) male, and one graduate facility. Student Residence Request Forms can be printed from this site and mailed to the Director of Housing.
In accordance with resolutions that affect housing policy at Grambling State University adopted November 14, 1969 by the Louisiana Board of Trustees for State Colleges and UniversitiesALL UNMARRIED FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS, REGARDLESS OF AGE OR WHETHER OR NOT EMANCIPATED, EXCEPT THOSE LIVING WITH PARENTS, ARE REQUIRED TO LIVE IN ON-CAMPUS RESIDENCE HALLS AS LONG AS SPACE IS AVAILABLE.
Exemptions:
Housing Exemptions may be granted to meet the described conditions:
A student may guarantee a room assignment by paying an advance room-reservation fee of $200 for each semester and $100 for the summer term at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the opening of the residence halls. Room assignment will be guaranteed on space available basis. Financial Aid awarded for the respective semester/term may be used to meet this requirement when there is sufficient financial assistance to pay full fees. The room reservation may be canceled thirty (30) calendar days prior to the opening of the residence halls. The cancellation notice must be in writing to the Director of Housing. A refund may be received when applicable. The $200/$100
advance room fee deposit will be applied directly to tuition and room and board for the semester/term in which the student is applying.
A student living in a residence hall is required to purchase appropriate meal ticket for eating in the university dining hall.
