Photo Album Page 2

This is my kitty, Esther. She found us many years ago when we lived in Jamestown. She was just a little kitten then, who hung on our screen windows and meowed at our doors until we adopted her. Sadly, she was pretty old and just recently we lost her.

This is me, Janna, and Ruth when we were ready to go see Les Miserables at Devos Hall a couple of years ago. We had a great time, even though we were in the back row of the balcony.

One of my best friends in the whole world, who I've known since I was 11 years old, is Avonlea. Here we are a few years ago standing in front of Ada Bridge.

And now for a blast from the past! This is me on my very first date. I was 14 years old and Jason Fuller asked me to his senior banquet at Plymouth Highschool. We went as friends, contrary to popular opinion! : ) Now everyone believes me because Jason F. is marrying Ruth, and I am marrying Jason A.

Do you recognize this little tomboy? Yep, it's me a long time ago when I had time to spend long summer days playing in the sun with my friend Heather and the pack of little boys who we bossed around. Those were the good old days!

And here is the lovely picture that Jason and Sheldon emailed to Lea and me one night when Lea was staying over at my house and Jason was over at Shel's.

Here is another one they sent us that evening, except joining them is our friend Shane.

And here is my dear friend Sheldon at 3 AM off at University. He made the mistake of sending it to me. : ) Thanks Shel!

These two pictures are from the Great Flood of Jamestown about 3 years ago. O.k., so it wasn't so big. But it was the biggest that I can remember in 11 years of living there. It was early spring and it was pouring all the night before and all the next morning. As soon as the rain cleared up, Heather and I hit the road with a camera to capture the event. There was water running over the roads, and in some places the road was washed out. Yards (like the one to our right) looked like lakes. We went canoeing in Heather's yard, which is to theright of us. It was fun. (By the way, these scanned in smaller than I had planned. I'll enlarge them soon)

A good friend of mine recently visited this page and pointed out that this page has not really kept up with the times. Boy is that the truth! Though many of these pictures are only about 1 1/2 years old, things have changed a lot since then. I haven't had much time to change it all! Maybe it is best that way. . .a tribute to the past. My childhood friendships have changed much, but true friendship never dies.

This page is still under construction, and I plan to add more pictures soon. (As soon as I can find the time to go scan them in.) I want to add pics of Lea and Sheldon's wedding, and some of my newly aquired relatives,a nd definitely my wedding pictures.(Rea, etc.)
