New Stuff
This page will display some of my newest (probably uncategorized) work in clay as well as any other updates to the site.

Reorganized images and changed some to thumbnails.

First kaleidoscope! This was a joint project with my husband. He cut the mirrors and plexiglass
for me and helped me figure out the mechanics of how everything should fit together.
The scales were made with a green/gold Skinner blend and
applied individually.
This is the eyepiece. We were hoping to scan part of the interior view
but unfortunately the scanner doesn't catch any of it.
Smashed glass marbles were used as the objects to make up the image.
Clay shells, sand dollars, seahorse and starfish made from molds. I created the molds from real shells.
Some of them have a slight dusting of Pearl-ex powder for an iridescent effect.
