Plot -
As the Avengers descend in the basements beneath the mansion, Stinger tells them of the vision she had the last time she was there. A vision where all the Avengers had died in a horrific battle. Meanwhile, not far awhile, a mysterious woman tells Ion Man, a mercenary, that his next target is Dr. Cassandra Lang, who in secret in truly Stinger! Back at the mansion, the Avengers try to figure out what's happening the basement, so they decide to ask Jarvis about the last days of the last team of Avengers, hoping to shed some light on the topic. Jarvis tells them that Captain America and the others that a new threat has emerged and perhaps, only the Avengers have enough power to stop it. The Avengers built a portal to another realm, hoping to stop those outsiders from ever setting foot in our dimension. Jarvis could only watch them go. Meanwhile, Mainframe appears at Cassie's work. She tells him that his secrets are going to hurt the team in the long run and that now is the time to come clean. He agrees, but before he can tell her his biggest secret, the duo is attacked by Ion Man. Mainframe pummels him, while Cassie changes into Stinger and saves her co-workers and father from the fight. Back the mansion, Jarvis tells them about when the Avengers finally returned. Among all those who went through, only Hawkeye, Hercules, the Scarlet Witch, Wasp, Iron Man, and the Vision returned. And Iron Man tells him, that the others, the others are dead. Back at the lab, Ion Man destroyes Mainframe, cutting through his robotic shell. It reveals, however, that is was nothing more than another robot! Stinger continues to fight, but Ion Man is too much for her alone. Another Mainframe appears, just before Ion Man finishes her. But he is again destroyed and another one appears. At the mansion, Jarvis tells them of how Iron Man and the Scarlet Witch crafted something deep in the catacombs. But suddenly, one day, Iron Man appeared, taking off his helmet. He tells Jarvis that the Scarlet Witch is gone, for now, and that is longer Iron Man, his days of fighting were over. And thus, the Avengers legacy ended. At the lab, Ion Man and Mainframe continue to fight, as Mainframe loses more and more robot bodies. But finally, Mainframe finds a way to channel into Ion Man's chest plate, sending the assassin into the sky. But Mainframe falls, revealing that he is the last robot. He tells Stinger the truth: he truly is just a robot, designed by Tony Stark to ensure the life of the Avengers. But Mainframe's robot body has taken too much damage, and his final host perishes.
