Trolleybuses

Why trolleybuses are better than buses: Electric engines are more powerful (therefore have more traction) and quieter than internal combustion ones;
They don't require batteries, which 1. explode, 2. waste energy, 3. are expensive, 4. are made out of materials, which process to get is bad for the enviroment;
Trolleybuses are cheaper to run because of electricity and no rails.
The map of the Vilnius trolleybus system can be found in the "Some random links" tab. It's out of date as some routes have changed, but the actual system is the same. The purple lines show the STILL not built planned route to a microdistrict called Santariskes; The pink lines show removed trolleybus lines.
I plan to post some trolleybus photos in my upcoming "photos" tab, which currently doesn't exist.
