The ever-so great Sailor Sun ( wheeee xD) is one of Queen Serenity's best friends and confident. She takes charge of taking care of the xX senshi and acts like their boss sometimes.

Amateratsu Oomikami, being the first born of King Izanami, was the heiress to the throne of Solaris. ("Planet "Solaris had been a star before, one of the brightest and most beautiful, however, by some unknown phenomenon it frozeon some stage of its life and it was no longer considered a Star, it was now a bright golden planet) She also had a brother named Susanowo but they never got along because he was so jealous of his sister being the one next to the throne. Being treated like an outcast, he disappeared at a young age and no one has heard of him ever since. Many believe Susanowo was banished to another realm, however, they are only rumors. Not even Amateratsu knows what had become of him...

Anywayz!! Long time ago, when Amateratsu was fourteen, she teamed up with Sailor Opichius (sailor of death and the spiritual realm) Sailor Isis (the divine Senshi of balance!!) and Sailor Galaxia (we all know her, don't we?) to stop the universe from disappearing by creating the 5 sacred star stones (the xX stones!!!) that were placed right in the middle of the Universe, preventing its selfdestruction. It was then where she met the future king of a distant planet, the one who was destined to love her always (don't ya just luv cheezy love stories? *grin*). When she married the love of her life, she ruled both planets as Queen. She settled down and had a daughter, however, she never got to see her child grow up as Senje killed Amateratsu in a surprise attack. Nevertheless, as consequence of creating the xX stones, her spirit would never die, and her ghost remained in this realm as the Spiritual Divine Senshi of Life and thus, met Serenity.

She's one of the most powerful Sailor Senshi in the universe, but she can never use her powers at her most because of her spirit form. She's very fond of Selene and the rest, she acts kinda bossy and bad-tempered but she cares for them deeply and helps them in any way she can.
