In her past life, she was Princess of Vejita-sei, the only girl warrior, but she was reborn again as a human because the future destruction of Planet Vejita was foreseen and it was to avoid her death. The only trait she conserved from her Vejita-seian past was the great will to fight, which she showed everyday fighting against criminals as Junior policegirl. Videl trained martial arts with her father, who had his own dojo and participated in the Tenkaichi Boudokai (Martial arts tournament) every now and then. It was at a big quarrel near at the Tenkaichi Bousokai the national when she first met Sailor Neo Moon and Sailor Chizeta; And it wasn't no ordinary fight, it was against Sailor Isis and the Blue Sphinx Team.( familiar? It's the Spirit Silver Senshi of balance). Iyari noticed her strange powers and found out she was one of the missing xX Senshi.
