� � � �Ami is the second senshi to appear after Usagi. She is very shy and often gets depressed; she is normally pretty quiet and uses her brain rather than brawn to get her out of tough situations.
� � � �As Sailor Mercury she tends to get a bit more aggressive but she still always thinks before she acts. Luna gave her a computer which helps her to determine what to do in certain situations. Her powers tend to do with water and are not always very strong but her strategy is usually what save everyone. �For the most part her powers tend to lean toward defensive abilities rather than offensive. �She presses on her (I believe, although I maybe wrong) right earring and a visor appears where she can use both visor and computer to analyze a situation.
� � � �Ami is pretty competitive when it comes to her school work. She is constantly studying and lecturing the other senshi to study. She constantly has the highest test scores and likes to have competition. She went kinda crazy in the SM Supers special while competing for the best score but she hates to be accused of cheating also. �Mostly the only people that really match Ami for her intelligence would be Sailor Neptune and Greg, a rainbow crystal carrier.
� � � �As far as her love life goes, it's pretty slow like most of the other senshi. The Supers special "Ami's First Love" well, the title is a bit deceiving. The other senshi believe she's in love because of the way she acts when competing, and it is hinted that she is. But she never actually meets the guy. �She also had a crush on a psychic boy who was one of the rainbow crystal carriers, Greg. �His gift was premonition and she even fought Zoycite by herself to protect him. She also has small love things here and there.
� � � �She is also the Princess of Mercury, it is mentioned in the anime series, but you never see her in her princess form. In the manga her and all the other senshi are seen in Princess dresses.

Her dream is to be a doctor, like her mother. And is part of the reason she studies so much.
