� � � �Usagi is the first senshi to appear in the Sailor Moon series (2nd if you count Sailor Venus in her manga). She is klutzy and a crybaby, not something you would find very appealing in a heroine.
� � � �But to her surprise, a talking cat came her way and helped her transform into a champion of Justice, Sailor Moon. She probably had the most resistance to became a senshi as she often denied everything that was happening to her and had trouble learning to attack youmas (monsters).
� � � �Usagi is then only scout that tends to fall and whine unlike her fellow scouts, who instead of falling and whining, would dodge (or land) gracefully and take all the damage with *silence.* �Usagi in general is a big time klutz but her strength is in her love for her friends. When it is just her in trouble she usually gets pretty whiny and ditzy. But if her friends are in trouble she is usually the one to be able to save them, her love for her friends also tends to make her attacks stronger.
� � � �Usagi is not only the fighter Sailor Moon, but is also the Princess of the Moon, Princess Serena, and in the future, the ruler of Crystal Tokyo, Neo Queen Serenity. Usagi and the other senshi were all reborn on earth after their kingdom, the Moon Kingdom, was destroyed by the Dark Kingdom (the main villain in the first season). Usagi regains her memory gradually through the series and she remembers something called the "Silver Millennium" in which her mother, Queen Serenity, and herself, Princess Serena, ruled on the moon in the moon Kingdom. �It was only later when she grew older did her name change to be Queen Serenity in the NA version.
� � � �Usagi is the only one who has a love life through the whole series. She falls in love with Mamoru/Tuxedo Mask who was also her love back during the silver millennium as Mamoru was her Prince from Earth. �They later became Queen Serenity and King Endymion. She's kind of obsessive over him and she likes to rub the fact in to the Inner Scouts that she has a boyfriend and they don't. But even with that, she is very prone to chasing guys, these guys would include Jedite (when both were disguised as people other than their true identities), Andrew, Chad and even Mesha (a youma). �She also had a crush on Tuxedo Mask, Moonlight Knight, and Andrew all at the same time, even though she wasn't aware at the time that Tuxedo Mask and Moonlight Knight were the same being.

She is basically the same in the manga. But she seems to mature in the Stars series.
