� � � �Rei is the third senshi to appear. When it is just Mercury, Moon and Mars, she is the most aggressive. If you look up what Aries are supposed to be like you'll basically find her personality. . .
� � � �She is the most fiery of the group. She likes to give Usagi a hard time when she's being ditzy and will sometimes give Usagi a well deserved slap. She has a tendency to get in fights a lot and doesn't back down because of her stubbornness. Though she may not admit it she cherishes her friends, especially Usagi. When it's needed she can be a very supportive friend.
� � � �All of her attacks have to do with fire (matches her personality). Her attacks can be strong but are not one of the strongest out of the senshi. Her psychic powers sometimes aid the scouts but is at an semi-unstable state (she can't really control it). �But unlike those of the seven rainbow carriers, Rei's powers seem to be more subtle, like Luna's, because she picks up negative vibes. �However, she also uses an evil dispelling holy paper called an ofuda. �In the NA version she uses it to disable/paralyze a youma so that she or another scout can finish off the job. �But the appears shows that the use of the ofuda is a Mars Scout power, but it's not. �As a practicing Shinto priestess, Rei had the ability to use the ofuda before she was aware that she was Sailor Mars. �But once she had the power and knowledge of a senshi, she mixed the shinto ofuda in with her Mars power.
� � � �Despite what some may think, she is closest with Usagi. They have the kinda relationship where you fight all the time but when it comes down to it they are very find of each other. �In the heavily edited NA version, DiC had cut out many clips making the appearance of Rei's nastiness.� She shows how much she likes Usagi in serious situations.
� � � �Another one of these sad love lives for Rei because Chad (Yuuichiro) has a huge crush on her for most of the series, and he is in quite a bit of the series considering he's a supporting character. There are quite a few episodes dedicated to them but Rei never admits to liking him. He almost leaves in one SMS episode but decides to stay.
� � � �In the manga it is emphasized how beautiful she is, and Luna thinks she is the princess the first time they meet. Unlike the anime, where she loves to be worshipped by guys and chase after them, she doesn't trust guys in the manga. Guys constantly come to her and she rejects them.
