All cows on the farm are bred artificially. Artificial breeding allows dairy producers access to superior genetics by using bulls such as the one pictured here, Madawaska Aerostar.

Aerostar is owned and marketed in Canada by Westgen of Milner, BC. He has been used as a sire in fifty different countries. In Canada alone, he has 21,788 daughters. He also has 966 proven sons used for AI production in fourteen countries around the world.

Aerostar is already sixteen years old, which is very old as can be seen by his grey hair. He is retired and no longer in active production.
