"There's a commercial that says if you buy 'drugs' you're financing terrorism. That's backwards.  Keeping marijuana illegal is how the government makes it possible for terrorist to domestically fund their activities.

Since the government insist on lumping all 'drugs' together, let's talk about it.  The U.S. military buys a lot of Morphine for the troops so that when they get injured, they can deal with the pain and trauma. Where are the poppies grown for the morphine that the United States considers to be pharmaceutically correct?

The U.S. government is giving the poppy growers money.  

For instance, it was reported that last May the United States government gave the Taliban over $60 million to help fund the war on drugs.  Opium poppies make morphine and heroin for the world.  They are grown by the largest poppy producers THE NORTHERN ALLIANCE, whom, since 9-11 have been financed by the United States Government to help in the new war against the Taliban. 

The growers are not the ones who ran the planes into the buildings.  Most of the terrorists who did that were from an oil nation. If we use hemp fuel, the terrorists would not have had the money to run the planes into the buildings.
