Yes, you read it correctly. The Island II is an official SGF Lost Film. Of course, The Island II: Return to the Island is NOT lost, and it is still SGF's 7th complete film. The Island II was the name of the lost film. Not much is really remembered about it. The Dinosaur Hunter is sent back to The Island by Mr. Hammond to see if his dinosaurs are okay. A team is sent with the Dinosaur Hunter, and this is part of the film's major downfall. The characters in this movie had no personality whatsoever. Nobody who saw this movie, including Sam and Greg, cared if any of the characters died. Another problem was a total lack of storyline. After the characters arrived on The Island they just rode around in a car and looked at dinosaurs. There was no comedy in this film at all. It was bad. It was boring. It was taped over on the next filming day to create James Wampa: Never Say Clever Again, which was also taped over. |
