Taking care of Norns who are sick and ill can be a complicated chore, so this part I've tried to make as simple as possible. The problem is, with both of these, depending on the severity, you're on a time limit, so it may take several sick Norns to practice on before you get the hang of it.
In the Docking Station, you don't have much to worry about. There aren't any poisonous plants, and the diseases are usually nothing more than colds, or fevers. So, in the Docking Station, we use this simple little machine called the HoverDoc. This is what it looks like closed.
If you pick it up, and direct it at a Norn, it opens up to look like this (left). The Hoverdoc will tell you your Norn's highest need. It will also tell you what disease your Norn has, and how to cure it.
Click the little tab with the arrow on the right of the Hoverdoc. This will open up a new panel to explore.
The first panel you will come to is the drives display. This is pretty simple. The more highlighted sections around the drive, the higher the need.
This is the bacteria page, where you can see what kind of bacteria your Norn has. Symptoms are: sneezing, coughing, shivering...etc. The picture of the bug with the X on it frees your Norns of germs.
This is your Toxin page, mainly used for poisons. Pressing the Green Checkmark will show you the cure.
And finally, the Fertility Drive Page, where you can check to see if your Norn is ready to lay eggs. Each chemical shown is a different color.
Germ Facts: Germs float in the air, and latch onto passing creatures. They exist heavily in the jungle, which is why Grendels more often than not, carry them.

Germs are numbered 0-7

Histamine A and B causes sneezing and coughing.
Histamine 5 can kill.

To cure, inject the antihistamine that the hoverdoc reccommends, and give your Norn lots of food and rest! Isolate them!
Poisoning
Norns are curious creatures, and there is a lot they can get their hands on that they shouldn't. Below is a list of poisons, and their cures. Remember, the DS doesn't have anything in the way of poison, but if you get C3, remember to come back and check here.
Cyanide (rotten food: fatal) ...................................Sodium/Thiosulphate
Belladonna (slows heart)........................................Medicine One
Glycotoxin (starves Norn)......................................Arnica
Heavy Metal...........................................................EDTA
Carbon Monoxide (no air)........................................Anti-Oxydient
Geddonase (affects fat tissue)..................................Dehydrogenase
In my links page, you can browse through all the different medical stuff I have available for the Docking Station and C3. But first, let's continue on into the more rewarding areas of the Creature World: The Lifecycle.
