| 1985 � Junior Varsity Hockey returns to RMC.
1985 � Steve Molaski named to OUA East Division All-Star Team. 1986 � Steve Molaski named to OUA East Division All-Star Team. 1986 - The first Carr-Harris Cup (the Causeway Challenge) is played between RMC and Queens. 1987 � Tom MacKay hired as head coach. This is MacKays second stint with RMC 1987 - Steve Molaski named to OUA East Division All-Star Team. 1988 - Steve Molaski named to OUA East Division All-Star Team. Molaski ended his RMC career with 81 goals and 124 assists for 205 points landing him in the top 10 for career points in the OUA. Molaski had previously played with the Memorial Cup Champion Cornwall Royals in 1980-81 with Dale Hawerchuck and Doug Gilmour. 1989 � Tom MacKay fired as head coach two weeks before the annual West Point game. He is preplaced by Assistant Coach Bob Moses for the remainder of the season. 1989 - Jacques Tremblay hired as head coach. Tremblay is the first full time head coach to be hired by RMC. 1991 � A 11-1 loss to West Point marks the first time that West Point takes the overall lead in the annual series. 28-27-5. 1995 - RMC is in the Hockey Hall of Fame. In the Family Zone of the Hockey Hall of Fame the #10 White RMC Jersey of RJ Ellis, the White #6 of the 1977 Team Canada Jersey of Ron Ellis, and the #10 Jersey of the 1941 Toronto Marlbouroughs' Randy Ellis are displayed in the Hall of Fame after the West Point weekend. 1996 � Ryan Latinovich and Kyle Paul are selected as part of an OUA East Division All-Star team who played 2 games against the Canadian National Junior Team who later went on to win the Gold Medal at the 1997 World Junior Championships. 1996 � In a 13-2 win over the Ryerson Rams all RMC players on the game sheet, less back up goalie Rob Young register a point. 1996 - RMC Redmen make their first ever appearance in the OUA playoffs by finishing 3rd in the Mid-East Division. The game is a road game against the University of Toronto Varsity Blues who beat the Redmen 5-2. 1996 - Jacques Tremblay named OUA and CIAU Coach of the Year. 1996 - RMC changes the team nickname from Redmen to RMC/CMR. 1996 � This West Point game features Dan Hinote who played for West Point and then later on became a member of the Stanley Cup winning Colorado Avalanche in 2000. 1996 - Former Redmen goaltender Andy Scott is hired as head coach. 1997 - RMC changes the team nickname from RMC/CMR to the Paladins. 1997 � Kyle Paul selected to the OUA East Division All-Star Team who play the Canadian National Junior Team in an exhibition game. 1998 - Massive renovations to Constantine Arena. 1998 - Ryan Vince Named OUA Rookie of the Year and named to the CIAU All-Rookie Team. 1998 � Bill Oliver takes over as the OUA Hockey Convener. 1999- Team Captain Ryan Vince and goalie Tom Connerty play for the OUA Mid East Selcets against Team Canada. Connerty receivers player of the game honours. 1999 � Tom Connerty invited to the Toronto Maple Leafs prospects camp. 1999 � Andy Scott serves as President of the Canadian University Hockey Coaches Association. |
