| 2000 � RMC beats West Point 3-0. this is the first time RMC has shut out West point since 1938.
2001 - RMC wins the schools first ever playoff game and series. The Paladins beat the Queens Golden Gaels 2 games to 0 to advance to the Mid East Conference Final. The Paladins go on to lose to the University of Toronto Varsity Blues 2 games to 1. 2001 - Ex McGill Redmen player Kelly Nobes hired as head coach. Nobes leads RMC to a record season going 9-15-1 setting school records for wins and points. 2002 - Matt House named to OUA second All-Star Team 2002 - RMC drops the logo of the Paladin on the horse and goes back to the College cap badge for team uniforms. 2002 � RMC advances to the playoffs for a second straight year where they run into a hot Ryerson goaltender and lose 2 games straight. 2003 - RMC makes it into the playoffs for the 3rd straight year losing 2-0 to Queen's in the division semifinal. 2003 - Canadian born Brett Osness plays for West Point against RMC in a 4-0 West Point win. 2004 - RMC Finishes the season 3-20-0-1 but makes it into the playoffs where they lose to the Queens Golden Gaels 2-0 in the division semi-final. 2004 - The 04/05 season begins with 11 new players on the roster and high hopes for the team 2005 - RMC's Tyler Middlebrook finishes the season with 41 points to lead the OUA in Scoring and is tied for second in the nation. 2005 - The RMC - West Point Hockey Game is bradcast live in the US on CSTV and in Canada on the NHL network. 2005 - RMCs last game of the season against Ryerson is broadcast tape delayed across Canada on the NHL Network. This game is the first time TSN has ever carried an entirlely student produced event as the game was produced, directed and called by Ryerson journalism sutdents. 2005 - RMC finishes the regular season 8-10-0-6 for 22 points good for second in the OUA Mid East. The record set a couple of new school records, most ponts in a season and most overtime games in a season 8 (2 wins and 6 losses). 2005 - RMC makes it into the playoffs for the fifth year in a row where the played the UQTR Patriotes in the best of 3 conference quarter finals, but were swept in two games straight. 2005 - RMC places 4 players on OUA All-Star Teams. Defenceman Brent Maurice and Center Tyler Middlebrook are named to the OUA East Division Second All-Star team, while Defenseman Ian Miller and Right Winger Roman Srutek are named to the OUA East Division Rookie All-Star Team. |
