American Rugby is the only competition related to Rugby with points, critics, and winners. It is a competition which originally started early sophomore year and was meant as only a practice to make new strategies and takedowns for Rugby. It has been around for only half a year yet gives a lot to Rugby. The rules are you can pick another opponent to be the victim who cannot protect themselves but you cannot pick an opponent who was victim in the last takedown performed. Two other opponents judge who is performing the takedown by creativity being how amusing it is to watch, technique being if they achieved doing what they intended to do, and finally pain which is judged on how painful it looked and the screams and _expression of pain emitting from the victim. These 3 categories are judged individuality on a scale from 1-10, 1 being worst score and 10 being best. Ultimately whoever gets most points, wins the game. Thought up by the combined ideas of me and Lucas it is still performed to this day.
