Flight Of Fury (2007)

Cast:Steven Seagal, Steve Toussaint

Seagal continues his awful streak with Flight Of Fury, a remake of a fairly enjoyable Michael Dudikoff effort called
Black Thunder,  like that movie Seagal is asked to recover a jet that can turn invisible,  the only new twist is that Seagal will be able to keep his memory if he is successful.  This movie is as bad as what you would expect from a typical Seagal straight to video clunker.

What can I say that hasn't been already said about this Seagal flick.  Renting a STV Seagal flick is only for  those who enjoy pain or have insomnia,  those who enjoyed Seagal's early work will be just as disappointed as they were with Seagal's last 8 or so.   I did sort of enjoy
Into The SunBelly Of The Beast and Mercenary For Justice but everything else has been dreadful to say the least.  I for one am burned out on the whole Seagal laziness he puts out in his performances and I thinkhis movies are all dull stinkers.  I give it a slightly higher rating than usual just because I'm just relieved that Seagal isn't playing a secret agent or anything because said tiresome acts make such a movie quite the chore to sit through. Flight Of Fury (And what an awful title it is too.) is a rip off and should be avoided unless you're a serious Seagal fan but even they deserve better quality than this.  I mean for goodness sake this movie rips off stock footage from Iron Eagle (!),  and let it be said that one wasn't any great shakes either..D.Michael Keusch*1/2
