| Black Thunder (1997) Cast:Michael Dudikoff,Gary Hudson,Richard Norton When Richard Norton rips off a highly advanced plane, it's up to Michael Dudikoff to get it back before Norton can sell it to middle eastern terrorists out to use the plane to take over the world in this entertaining actionflick which does provide some good flying scenes as well as a few moments of light entertainment. Really, as far as Dudikoff movies go Black Thunder is indeed a cut above Dudikoff's other military styled thrillers as Strategic Command, Crash Dive and Counter Measures, indeed when compared to the latter two Black Thunder is almost Top Gun, yet Black Thunder rarely slows down and even though it's certainly memorable, Black Thunder shapes up to be one of Dudikoff's better actioners to come out lately. This due to the fact that Dudikoff and Hudson share good chemistry as well as the flying scenes are top notch. Indeed Dudikoff fans (Myself included) will find a lot to like. .D.Rick Jacobson *** |
