"Quality, Not Quantity".
Sigma Gamma Rho accepts membership on the undergraduate and graduate level. A woman may be admitted for membership in an undergraduate chapter while in attendance at a four-year accredited college or university. Candidates may be accepted for undergraduate membership after successfully completing one quarter, semester, or trimester. The cumulative grade point average required for membership is 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale).

Membership eligibility is more than having the appropriate number of credit hours and a good G.P.A. When making the decision to join any organization consider the following three suggestions.

(1). Do your research. Never join any organization unless you know what they are about. Research all other organizations so that you can make an educated decision and choose the one that is right for you.

(2). Decide if you have what it takes. Being Greek is more than wearing paraphernalia and stepping in step shows. It is a life time commitment that requires dedication, cooperation and perseverance.

(3). Talk to a member. Do not be afraid to approach us. Let yourself be known. Just because you talk to us does not mean you are obligated to join our organization. Feel free to ask us about our organization and our reasons for becoming a member.
