Hope Intervention Center
The school began nine years ago when a social worker processed papers so that the day care where she worked would provide its second floor for autistic children. Together with nine other teachers they started the first public autistic school in the Philippines named, Hope Intervention.

And then five years ago, Rotary Club of Calamba went to this daycare to give Vitamin A supplement to the indigent students. The social worker asked the club if they could also give the special children these supplements, this introduced the club to Hope Intervention which they later adopted. With the clubs help together with the Calamba City Government,  they were able to relocate the school in Villa Remedios.

The school not only aims to teach these autistic children to speak, move, read and write. They have a house-set-up in one of their rooms, so that the children will be able to live independently. They teach bathing , shopping , cooking and many more self-help classes. On Fridays, they have their Physical Education classes, where they improve their gross motor and fine motor skills.
