Prodigals Numerous prodigals populate the Empire from the northern tip to the southermost point. Of course, the changelings have only gathered a small amount of lore on who and what these prodigals are, and none of it is entirely certain. Vampires There appear to three major groups of vampires or 'Kindred' within the Empire, situated in Auckland, Hamilton and Wellington. Of these the most dangerous group is possibly the Hamilton motley of vampires on whom Duchess Althea keeps a wary eye. There was once a wayward Malkavian that befriended a few of the Hamil Shire fae, but he appears to have disappeared. Of the Auckland kindred, little is known except that they have close ties with their Hamilton counterparts, and even less is known of the Wellington bloodsuckers. Werewolves Dotted across the empire are small pockets of the folk known as Garou. It is known that their numbers are relatively small and several 'Tribes' are entirely absent from New Zealand. There has been no formal contact between fae and garou thus far, even with the few Fiona Tribe that may reside here, but by the same token, there has been no trouble between the two races either. Willworkers It is known of the mages that they have a large enclave of some sort in Christchurch within the Cante Shire. Elsewhere they keep a low enough profile that they have remained largely undetected, though a strong presence of banality mages is felt in the bounds of Hamil Shire. A nocker by the name of Jackboy told that he has extensive knowledge of these folk, but he appears to have gone Dauntain and hasn't been heard of for some time. Ghosts Whatever the sluagh know of the dead folk of New Zealand, they tell very little of. Having a comparatively short history compared to other nations, New Zealand is not likely to have many ancient or powerful ghosts, though Waiouru Military Camp is well known for ghostly visitations. Changelings though seem to steer clear of the military rather than suffer what is surely a banal environment for most ghost stalkers.
