| My husband, Stuart, and I have been together for over 7 years. We were married on Easter, April 7, 1996, and now we have two daughters together, Anna and Shelby, and I have an older daughter, Olivia, from a previous marriage who lives in Oregon with her father. Stuart's a young plumber from Connecticut. He migrated to the south in March of 1993. That was when the south got "the big snow storm"! He drove through it to get to his then-girlfriend, who had moved here from Connecticut as well. During this same time, I was married to my first husband and living in Alaska! In fact, I was giving birth to my daughter Olivia, and my mother and sister were coming from here in Georgia to see us while I was in the hospital. That weekend, the snow storm hit Georgia and surrounding areas. Ironic that my family would miss a snow storm in Georgia of all places by planning to visit with me and my new family in Alaska! This is also how I remember how Stuart came to be in Georgia, setting us up to meet and marry a few years later after I had come back home going through a divorce. |

| Stuart studied plumbing as far back as when he was in high school, which was a tech-like high school. A few years ago, after much work and studying and taking his plumbing exam(s), he became a master plumber. He'll be 29 this year, and since I don't know of too many young plumbers, I feel great knowing he's accomplished this in his field of choice at a young age. He also started his own plumbing business last year! Sure doesn't hurt to know there's a plumber in the house! When Stu isn't working or playing with the kids, he likes to fish, go shooting, sometimes go camping, and play his video games. He's also a big card player, which I am not! So he can often be found playing spades at Yahoo Games when he's on the computer. |

| I'll be celebrating the 3rd anniversary of my 29th birthday this month--yes, the "older woman", but hubby's quickly catching up to me! I'm forever twenty-nine! Even though I am currently a Stay At Home Mom, I used to work in photo development labs and loved every creative minute of it! And yes, you do see lots of things! But that's the nature of good film development...doing each picture accordingly! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| I'm a night owl by nature and a lefty, too, as is my father, my youngest daughter and my nephew. So I think I come by my creative side naturally. I love to craft and paint and design cross-stitch patterns when time allows around my little ones. I do a lot of different crafts, but I've tried to narrow down the list to things I do now simply due to the cost, the lack of time and the space they take up. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| A few years ago I met a man online (Hi Paul! www.IrenesCraftConnection.com) at one of my clubs who was selling a scroll saw pretty cheap because he had already upgraded brands, so we bought it! He lives in Georgia too, so we were able to pick it up and also get some sawing lessons from him. I've wanted one for a few years now, so this way I can finally learn to cut out my own wood projects to paint and decorate. My biggest interest, besides the painting, cross stitch and working with dried florals, has been gardening. As I mentioned on the other page, I had hoped to take Master Gardener classes January 2000. I sent off my application and had been waiting to see if mine was accepted...Patiently...and I was...but due to our scheduling I had to turn it down. I think I'd rather forget about the classes for now and just play with my new scroll saw anyway. I'd rather spend less money to buy a scroll saw than on the classes, and in the meantime I can just read and learn about gardening for free like I have been for so long now. Gardening knowledge can always be found for free or cheap, but a scroll saw can't! :-) |

| When we're at home, and I get a break, you might catch me or us in our yard trying to landscape what was once only pasture land. Now you can see some effort put into making it more of an actual yard, with areas lined with stones and lawn edgers, flower beds and a wooden fence all around. There's even a borrowed wheelbarrow in the back yard right now waiting to do more work! Between having the girls and their growing up, going to school, etc., we have a Quikrete cobblestone mold walkway that I started that waits to be finished. It takes a lot of work doing the concrete, letting it set up, etc., but I love doing it. It's just another creative outlet for me, which also improves the yard's look. Soon (or one day!) there'll be a section of privacy fencing, a tool shed (or two!), some more compost, border rocks, flowers, new trees, shrubs, concrete mix......OH HONEEEEY!... :-) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
