Saving the Current Window

Purpose

To save the area defined by the current modeling window as a pix file.

How to Use

Click in the modeling window that you want to save to make it current.

Select File > Export > Current window. The File Requestor is displayed.

Type a file name in the File field and press Enter.

Alternatively, click the Show List button to display the File Lister and select an existing file to overwrite. The filename and its UNIX path appear in the File Requestor.

Click the Save Window button in the File Requestor.

The area of the screen defined by the current modeling window is saved to the specified pix file.
