Deleting Stage Contents


Deletes the contents of the working level stage-namely, its objects, shaders, views, and actions. The stage itself remains.

Tip: To delete both the stage and all its contents, use Delete > Selected Stage in the Stage Editor. For information on the stage editor, see Using Stages on page 404.

How to Use

Alternatively, double-click an icon to display its options window.

To preserve shaders and control windows associated with the stage, select Delete > Del stage contents-. Click the appropriate check boxes, and select Go.
If the options are already set appropriately, select Delete > Del stage contents.

A confirmation window asks if you want to proceed. Click YES to proceed, or NO to cancel the deletion.

Del Stage Contents Options

By default, these options are toggled ON (indicated by a check mark).

Delete Shaders

Deletes shaders associated with the working level stage. Check it OFF to keep the shaders.

Close Control Windows

Closes all control windows associated with the stages. Check it OFF to keep the control windows open.
