Newport Bay

My first flight over water was in the steady sea breeze in Newport Beach. The wind was just strong enough to lift the camera. The Rokkaku kite did not rise very high, but carried the camera far out over the water and the moored boats.

This is a view of Balboa Peninsula. The Balboa Pier is in the background.

Harbor Island

This image was taken on the same flight. Harbor Island is just behind the boats and Lido Island is in the background.
