Zhengzhong collaborates with his mother to make Jiajia and Kaiping believe that he is Xuanwu Boy.

Kaiping brings her mother out for a walk. Miki suddenly comes along when Pingma is about to breath her last due to heart attack. She gives Pingma a drop of vampire blood to revive her after Kaiping repeatedly pleads with her.

Meiqian asks Kaiping to make a dress (for her mother's birthday). However, she does not have enough money to pay Kaiping. Thus, she runs away with the dress while Kaiping is not looking. She escapes into Zhengzhong's room. Kaiping allows Meiqian to pay him later.

Shouzheng calls to tell Jinjie that he has no money to pay the alimony this month. Zhengzhong then takes the phone and quarrels with him.

A customer comes to ask Xuanwu Boy about her marriage. Xuanwu Boy manages to say everything correctly and is paid for his job. Actually, Jinjie has already told Zhengzhong about this customer's background.

Xiaoling and Zhenzhen returns to Jiajia Building. The former sees that the building is "dirty". The latter discovers that the phone number, which Tianyou gives her, is fake.

Qiu-shu helps Tianyou to find another place to stay. At the same time, Qiu-shu's friend (a ghost) finally succeeds in finding Xiu after searching for many years. Tianyou immediately brings Fusheng to hospital to see Xiu for the last time. Fusheng dares not go in to see Xiu because he does not want Xiu to see him as young as before. Xiu believes that Tianyou is Guohua when Tianyou reminds her of the promise that to see fireworks together. Xiu dies peacefully and with a smile on her face.

Meiqian sells her branded goods to her friends at a ridiculously cheap price. She asks Zhengzhong to help her pass the money to Kaiping.

Kaiping discovers his mother has disappeared and goes to look for her. Actually, Pingma has gone to kill Meiqian and is successful.

Ken finds Miki and persuades her to go home. Nevertheless, Miki drives forward and knocks him down.

Tianyou and Fusheng go to Jiajia Building to stay. Zhenzhen helps Fusheng to enroll in her Primary school.

Tianyou discovers Meiqian's body. He sees that both Meiqian's body and Pipi's body contain black print. This black print is also found on Kaiping's hands. He suspects Pingma is the murderer.

Zhenzhen asks Kaiping to help her make a dress that was featured in a magazine.

Zhengzhong returns Kaiping the money that Meiqian asks him to return. However, Kaiping gives the money to Meiqian's mother after hearing that Meiqian has died. Kaiping chats with Pipi for a long time after meeting her at his doorstep.

Zhengzhong sets up a ritual to call Meiqian back. Tianyou comes to view the ritual. Meiqian really comes back and manages to talk to her mother for a while. She reveals to Tianyou that she does not know who has killed her. That same night, Meiqian goes to find Zhengzhong. She asks him to help her get the dress at the murder scene and pass it to her mother. She also discovers that Zhengzhong has been imposing as Xuanwu Boy and lying to her mother all along.

Pingma disappears again. This time, she goes to kill Pipi as she thinks Pipi is always seducing Kaiping.

Meiqian goes to Zhengzhong's house to take the dress. Jinjie faints upon seeing Meiqian. Zhengzhong helps Meiqian to give the dress to Meiqian's mother. Seeing that Meiqian is very filial, Zhengzhong allows Meiqian to possess his body. Later, Zhengzhong treats her to her favourite food. Meiqian does Zhengzhong a favour by scaring many of his neighbours in Jiajia Building. The neighbours then pay Zhengzhong to perform a ritual to appease Meiqian's soul.

Pingma arrives at Fusheng's house with the intention of killing him. She fails to do so. In addition, Tianyou comes back and kicks her out of the house.

Tianyou looks Xiaoling up and asks her for help in cleaning Jiajia Building. Upon hearing that it is Jiajia Building, Xiaoling agrees to go with him. They meet up with Zhenzhen. At Kaiping's home, Zhenzhen tries on the coat that Kaiping makes for her while Xiaoling finds out more about Pingma. Xiaoling discovers that Pingma is neither a human nor a ghost. Pingma realises that she has only little time left after Xiaoling uses her tool on her. Later, Zhenzhen tells Xiaoling that Zhengzhong is performing a ritual that night. Xiaoling is shocked as perfoming rituals on Three Signs Day can bring disaster. Thus, she tells Zhenzhen to forbid Zhengzhong from doing so. Zhengzhong performs magic with Meiqian's help. Jiajia's confidence towards him then boosted and she allows him to perform the ritual.

Kaiping gives Zhenzhen a pair of gold bangles. However, the latter rejects him.

Xiaoling and Tianyou go to see the corpses of Meiqian and Pipi. Xiaoling makes use of moonlight to show that Meiqian and Pipi were killed by a vampire.

Zhengzhong performs the ritual and attracts many ghosts. Xiaoling and Tianyou arrive. The former sprays cow's tear on all the people's eyes to enable them to see ghosts. Tianyou goes up to deal with Kaiping. Xiaoling then captures all the ghosts. Fusheng helps Xiaoling to trap the ghosts in a car. The rest of the residents of Jiajia Building go after Zhengzhong and demand compensation because they know they were cheated by Zhengzhong.

Kaiping kidnaps Zhenzhen and forces her to marry him. He does this to fulfil his mother's wish. Tianyou arrives and fights with Kaiping. In the end, Kaiping holds Zhenzhen as hostage and goes to the top floor of Jiajia Building with Pingma. Xiaoling and Tianyou follow them closely behind. Meiqian takes her revenge and tries to strangles Pingma. Xiaoling then uses Thunderbolt Manoeuvre to subdue Pingma. As Kaiping is upset that his mother has died, he carries his mother along and jumps down the building. Unfortunately, he lands on the car, which traps the ghosts, and the windows break. The ghosts are then "breathed in" by Kaiping. Before Kaiping really dies, he swears to return to take revenge.

Xiaoling reveals to Zhenzhen that she is a ghostbuster.

Xiaoling persuades Meiqian to go for reincarnation. The latter agrees after consideration. Before she leaves, she asks Zhengzhong to lead a decent life.

Miki is about to bite someone when Ken arrives. Ken warns Miki of the danger of exposing her vampire identity. Miki ignores him and goes off. She still cannot accept the fact that her father - Yamamoto Katsuo, has turned her into a vampire because the latter is afraid of loneliness. She decides to fight with him but is captured by him and kept in a glass box.

Guodong, Yamamoto Katsuo’s subordinate, yearns to become a vampire as he has cancer and does not want to die yet. Guodong informs Yamamoto Katsuo that the environmental groups disapprove of the developmental project of third world because the project causes damage to the environment. However, Yamamoto Katsuo asks Guodong to continue investing in the project. Yamamoto Katsuo promises him that he will bite him but not now.

Yamamoto Katsuo orders Ken and Herman to kill the people of Hong Kong Triad who has earlier demanded a share in the casino in Macau. Tianyou and Gao Bao go to investigate the murder. Yamamoto Katsuo spots Tianyou on the television when the camera crew accidentally records the latter on TV.

Jiajia engages Xiaoqing to be her property agent as many of her tenants have moved out. Jiajia decides to employ Xiaoling to deal with Kaiping after Xiaoqing suggests that a ritual should be performed on Kaiping's soul returning night. Xiaoling contacts Peter and seeks his help in finding out what a spirit will do on his soul returning night if he kills himself on Three Signs Day when spirits fill the air. Peter brings Xiaoling bad news - a man who kills himself on Three Signs Day when spirits fill the air will turn into an Evil Aura and will come back for revenge. Xiaoling goes to Jiajia Bulding and checks it out. She manages to confirm that Kaiping has turned into an Evil Aura when she sees these signs:

1) The vicinity where he will appear are filled with dead plants and animals.
2) As the yin force is strong, the walls drip water.
3) Clouds of resentment gather, unleashing a force till the day he comes back for revenge.

Xiaoling approaches Qiu-shu for weapons in dealing an Evil Aura. Qiu-shu sells the King Ksitigarbha’s Book of Reincarnation to Xiaoling and warns her that every soul only has one chance to reincarnate and if she fails to do so, she will be doing more harm to Kaiping instead. Xiaoling still goes ahead with her plan of sending Kaiping to reincarnation. Qiu-shu also tells Xiaoling that Tianyou can be trusted and with him around to help her, the chances of success will be much higher.

Shouzheng returns to give Jinjie part of the month’s allowance. Jinjie tells Shouzheng to give her a call when he is coming back again to give the rest of the allowance as she fears that he will return on the night when Kaiping’s soul returns. Shouzheng is actually Zhengzhong’s father. When Zhengzhong is young, Shouzheng drives his truck to the Mainland and rarely comes back home. He will bring money back as allowance for his family if he likes. Zhengzhong hates him for not taking care of him and the family.

Fusheng suggests to Zhenzhen to treat Tianyou to dinner as Tianyou saved Zhenzhen when they were in Japan. Zhenzhen calls Xiaoling to go along too. Zhenzhen thinks that Tianyou must have liked her or else he would not have risked his life and saved her when they were in Japan. Xiaoling tells Tianyou to clarify his feelings with Zhenzhen as she has never seen Zhenzhen so unhappy before until she meets Tianyou. Tianyou tells Zhenzhen that he is moving out of Jiajia Building and does not want any misunderstanding nor hurt her. Zhenzhen is very upset after hearing all this.

Zhengzhong decides to be Xiaoling’s disciple and learn skills from her. On seeing that he is so keen on learning her skills, Xiaoling decides to give him 3 tests. If Zhengzhong manages to pass all 3 tests, he will be accepted as her disciple. The first test is to stand on one leg for 10 hours and Zhengzhong passes that test. For the second test, he has to watch a videotape of Xiaoling’s ghostbusting feats. He is scared out of his wits and fails that test. For the third test, he has to help Xiaoling in sending Kaiping for reincarnation. Zhengzhong is reluctant to go at first but later agrees, despite the fact that Xiaoling warns him that Kaiping has turned into an Evil Aura, as he really wants to be Xiaoling’s disciple.

Zhengzhong tells Jinjie about Kaiping’s matter. Jinjie quarrels with him over this matter as she fears for his safety as Kaiping has turned into an Evil Aura. Zhengzhong refuses to listen to her and goes ahead to help Xiaoling. Surprisingly, Jinjie changes her mind and turns up to help them on that night.

Qiu-shu finds Pipi’s soul with Sheng’s help. With Pipi’s counseling, Ping-ma comes to her senses and knows that it is she, herself, who causes the death of Kaiping.

Tianyou changes his mind at the last minute and agrees to help. A person has to go down to bring Kaiping up with a special candle that can only be light up with human’s energy. This special candle can protect the person holding it but will go off if he/she speaks. Zhengzhong goes first but he fails when Kaiping scares him by disguising himself as Ping-ma. Jinjie volunteers to go next. Shouzheng too comes to give the rest of the month’s allowance and his soul is sucked by Kaiping. As Jinjie is shocked that his husband’s soul is being sucked, she cries out Shouzheng’s name and her candle goes off. Her soul is also sucked by Kaiping. Tianyou goes next to try to bring Kaiping up. He refuses to use the candle as he knows that he will not be able to light it up. In the struggle with Kaiping, Tianyou nearly exposes his vampire identity. Kaiping possesses Shouzheng’s body but nobody knows it. Xiaoling asks everyone to try to light up the candle to find out whose body Kaiping has possessed. When it is Tianyou’s turn, Tianyou does not want to touch the candle and Xiaoling threatens to beat him with her weapon but Zhenzhen stands in front of Tianyou, not letting Xiaoling to beat him. Xiaoling is in a fix. Fortunately, Zhengzhong comes up with an idea. A pure young lady can try to suck out Kaiping’s soul from Tianyou through his mouth and Zhenzhen is to do it. And Kaiping likes Zhenzhen, so he will not do any harm to her.
