~ Ouyang Jiajia is the owner of Jiajia Building and mother of Zhenzhen. Jiajia Building was given to her by her husband, Wang Haowen. However, Haowen died of cancer. Jiajia then treats the building like her husband. She is a demure lady and feels that a married couple should be honest and share their troubles with each other.
~ Wang Zhenzhen is a good friend of Xiaoling's. Her character takes after Jiajia. She is a pure innocent young primary school teacher who blushes easily. Whenever she is upset, she will turn on the washing machine. When she meets someone she likes, she will take the initiative to go after him. She falls in love with Tianyou when she meets him in Japan. She also resembles Yamamoto Katsuo’s late wife - Yuki.

~ Kuang Tianyou was bitten by the Vampire Commander when he was an anti-Japanese leader fighting with a Japanese commander - Yamamoto Katsuo at Hongxi Village 60 years ago. He immediately became a vampire with very special powers which enabled him to break a great deal of cases when he became a cop. He never suck human blood as he does not want the victim to suffer with him in this world. Letting his emotions to rule him frequently, he fails to accomplish a lot of tasks (for example when he goes back to 1938 to change history in episode 23). He always remembers his first love - Xiu although she has died a long time ago. Later when he moves into Jiajia Building, he gets to know Zhenzhen, who reminds him of Xiu. Although he becomes Zhenzhen’s boyfriend later on, the person he really likes is Zhenzhen’s best friend - Xiaoling. He is skillful in making coffee.
~ Kuang Fusheng is the foster son of Kuang Tianyou. He is also a victim of the Vampire Commander in Hongxi villager 60 years ago when he was only 8 years old. Having an 8 years old look, he goes to primary school to study. Later, he studies in the school where Zhenzhen works and hopes to have Zhenzhen as his mother. As a result, he tries means and ways to bring Tianyou and Zhenzhen together. His wish is to grow old, fall in love and die eventually.

~ Jin Shouzheng is the husband of Jinjie and Zhengzhong’s father. He always quarrels with Jinjie and strongly disbelieves in superstitious things such as ghosts. Nevertheless, he realizes his mistake when he saw Kaiping’s soul. He immediately changes to a very superstitious man. He even says “Let me pass” when he uses the toilet at home. He has heart disease but continues to drink beer. Susu cures his disease by giving him worms to eat.
~ Jinjie cares about her husband a lot and nags at him whenever he goes to drink beer. She makes up with him later after Kaiping’s matter when Shouzheng apologises for his stubborness.
~ Jin Zhengzhong is the disciple of Xiaoling. This also makes him the 41st descendant of Ma Clan. He used to pretend to be Xuanwu Boy to cheat people’s money. However, later in the show, he stops cheating people when he was discovered. He then starts to learn skills from Xiaoling as a ghostbuster. He falls in love with Susu - a white snake who has been waiting for Xu Xian for the past 800 years. He hates his father for not bringing allowance home and leaving them as he likes. However, he forgives his father when he sees that Shouzheng truly wants to repent.

~ Luo Kaiping is an honest tailor who likes Zhenzhen. He is often bullied by others because he is too honest. Some people even laugh behind his back. He is also a filial son and listens to whatever his mother says as he does not want his mother to be unhappy. He gives Zhenzhen sweets frequently when they were young.
~ Pingma is Kaiping’s mother. She cares a lot about Kaiping and controls him very tightly. She kills people who bullies him (from her view).

6) Dixin Mausoleum (Japan)

~ Master Peacock is a monk. Although his skills are not as good as Xiaoling’s, he has a golden heart. He adopts many poor orphans and gives them a warm home.
~ Jusan is a subordinate of Yamamoto Katsuo. At first, he trys to subdue Yamamoto Katsuo but fails to do so. He then pretends to die and before he dies, he writes down his account of subduing Yamamoto Katsuo in 13 Chapters. Actually, he is corrupted by the attraction of absolute power. He is a man of great ambition and after hearing Yamamoto Katsuo’s plan of turning the world into a Vampire World, Jusan wants to taste real power, so he teams up with Yamamoto Katsuo. He lies in wait at Dixin Tomb and appears at the last hurdle to kill anyone, who is after the 13 Chapters (which does not exist at all).
~ White Lotus does not make much appearance in the show. He is “allergic” to people calling him other coloured lotus. (For example: Yellow Lotus, Red Lotus, Purple Lotus, Blue Lotus etc.) He is an expert in gambling and his wife left him because of his gambling habit.

~ Lin Guodong is the subordinate of Yamamoto Katsuo. He yearns to be a vampire as he has liver cancer. He is willing to work for anyone who will turn him into a vampire and Yamamoto Katsuo promises him that he will turn him into a vampire. Guodong gets to know Jiajia when the latter comes to work in Nitto Group. He promotes Jiajia to be his secretary when his secretary goes missing. Their relationship improves greatly as they spend almost everyday together in the company.
~ Peter lives in the States and is a good friend of Xiaoling. He is a priest and communicates with Xiaoling through the computer. He often chats with her and helps her with a lot of things (for example when Xiaoling needs information about the Evil Aura and Zhengguo Stone).

The following characters do not make much appearance in the show and are listed in alphabetical order:

~ Chiwo is Miaoshan’s helper.
~ Chuchun is an unappeased spirit and remains in a hotel to kill people. When she was alive, her wish is to wear a traditional Japanese costume and admire the snow with her beloved man. 20 years ago, she went to work at the hotel and met Yamamoto Katsuo. She fell in love with him. Later, he killed her.

~ Fahai is a very powerful monk in the Legend of Madam White Snake who subdues every demon he sees. He is trapped in Zhengguo Stone by Xiaoqing for 800 years and released accidentally by Tianyou when the latter is fighting with Xiaoling.
~ Han Baitao is a drug dealer and a wanted person by the police.
~ Li Jiaying is the 8th richest man in the world and has more than 11 listed companies.
~ Lin Bing only makes an appearance in the show when Zhenzhen goes to find Fusheng with the help of a PI. He acts as a father of a little boy, who was mistaken as Fusheng.
~ Lord Buddha has a very powerful curse called the Mahavairocana Chant, which can destroy the world and start everything from the beginning again.
~ Mei is a classmate of Fusheng and admires him for his talent.
~ Miaoshan is believed to be the reincarnation of Guanyin and sent to Earth to help reduce the suffering of the people. She possesses the power of knowing everything. Every 33 years, she will see 33 people and answer 3 questions each. However, she is unable to predict what will happen if she herself is involved in the question.
~ Ms Zhou is a teacher in Fusheng's ex-primary school.
~ Nezha only make an appearance when Qiu-shu calls him out to fight with Yamamoto Katsuo.
~ Uncle Elevator fetches souls who no longer have worries and accompanies them on their last journies.
~ Yan works as a prostitute and gets to know Gao Bao when she and her friends are caught.
~ Zhong Shan Mei Xue is a Japanese and responsible for escorting Han Baitao.

~ Kuang Guohua a.k.a. Kuang Tianyou is the leader of an anti-Japanese Group.
~ Yamamoto Katsuo is the Japanese Commander’s son. He plans the Nanjing massacre. See above.
~ Xiu is a gentle young lady who falls in love at first sight with Guohua when the latter is still a human. She does not care that Guohua has turned into a vampire as long as the latter’s heart is good. She plays only a minor role in the show. Nevertheless, she has a great impact on Guohua.
~ Gao Bohui is the grandfather of Gao Bao. He is not afraid of death and is very curious about what is happening around. He becomes friends with the Vampire Commander.

1938, Japan

~ Yuki is Yamamoto Katsuo’s wife.
