Jerry Morefield

Jerry was born and raised in Saybrook, IL. For those of you who don't know, that is a little farming community about 30 miles northwest of Champaign and 30 east of Bloomington. He loves old cars and motorcycles and great music. Sounds like he has hit it right with his job.

Married since '92, Jerry's the proud dad of triplets. His advice is: "if you have not had kids yet don't do this to yourself or you will sound like your parents when you call your kids by the wrong name and soon enough you'll be saying things like 'Because I said so.'"

Jerry has worked for the same radio station (WKIO) for over 17 years. (Yes it really has been that long!) He has worked every shift and day-part the job has to offer, also having had the chance to work with a lot of great groups, like: The Greater Champaign County AMBUCS, Delta Sigma Omicron at the U of I, Sundowners Car Club, The Light The Night Folks for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, The March of Dimes and the Champaign County Freedom Celebration Committee. He has been on the Board of Directors of East Central Illinois United Cerebral Palsy and his family is currently the Ambassador family for Central Illinois Easter Seals.
