Link-O-Rama
My absolute hands-down favorite website:

eGullet.org, where geekiness and love of food collide in one incredible, engrossing Internet community. I can't say enough about these guys! They're even hosting my interactive culinary school diary. My username there is malawry. Shout out if you see me there.

I also have a
livejournal. Unlike this site, it's generally updated.

Queer activist-type organizations:

There's a special place in my heart for
Bisexual Insurgence. I historically did a lot of work with these hot bi babes. They're a DC metro area social activist organization. Psyche and I wrote most of the text on their website.
I've also got a deep fondness for the
BiNetwork DC, the first bi group to enter my life.
National Gay and Lesbian Task Force does great work with state and local groups.
Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation earns my vote entirely on the basis of Cathy Renna.
I've been a member of
BiNet USA, and I keep up with the Alternatives to Marriage Project.
Note: Do not ask me about the Human Rights Campaign unless you want an earful. I don't think all queer people are alike, and I resent any organization pretending to not only speak for us all but also to depict us as a homogenous group of people. When HRC starts doing things like the Bisexual Visibility Project of NGLTF, or starts running free media trainings for upstart bi groups like GLAAD's done for BI, then maybe I'll believe they care about my ilk.

The usual boring list of websites I visit regularly:

washingtonpost.com
salon.com (particularly important if you like This Modern World and K Chronicles)
Yahoo and Yahoo DC
Washington City Paper for my regular dose of News of the Weird and The Straight Dope
Washington Blade, despite their shoddy bi coverage
Epicurious, especially Jane and Michael Sterns' postcards, for general food info
Vegweb, which (as Kathy would say) romps and stomps all over all other vegan food websites

Other websites of interest:

Obscure, the web home of a few acquaintances...run by Richard.

The Women's Room page, the web home of a women-only forum on ISCA BBS. I don't know if I'd join such a forum today, but I've met some great people through it and I've been there for years and years.
Wunderland, the online home of the Wunderland Toast Society. This is simply one of the best-designed, most fun websites by some of the most interesting people I've met in DC. If you're into gaming, check out their Looney Labs games like Fluxx and Aquarius. Erin and I, along with a lot of our other friends, are imaged in the Wunderland Bomb Photos e-book.
I'm a newcomer to comix, thanks mostly to Liz and Sven, and I'm a fan of the
Small Press Expo, where I buy comix, and the Friends of Lulu, which supports women in the comix world.
Erin is a choral conductor, in addition to being a computer geek and an activist and all kinds of other cool things. His choir, the
Master Singers of Virginia, actually got me liking choral music.
