Ed Miller was born in Southern California in 1956. In 1974 he moved to the San Joaquin Valley; some years later, he took a Master’s degree in English from California State University, Fresno. His fiction has appeared in many small magazines, including Steam Ticket, Dispatch, The Wisconsin Review; he's also the author of Pushcart-nominee The Whole Enchilada, a chapbook of poetry. He resides in Fresno with his wife Sharon, and makes his living in civil service.

M. Kat Toy is a writer living in Taos, New Mexico. Diane Gurman is a graduate of the Creative Writing Program at New York University. Her stories have appeared in Quarterly West, Santa Monica Review, Spork, and ACM (Another Chicago Magazine). She is currently completing a novel and a short story collection.
