Jackie Davis Martin presently teaches composition and creative writing
at
City College in San Francisco. She's spent her life in the
classroom, using
school experiences as fuel for essays, as well as taking her encounters
with
and observations of people as the inspiration for stories. She's
taught
and lived on both coasts and finds that San Francisco offers pretty
much
everything there is in the way of both arts and natural beauty.
