Kuro sits quietly during Ragarok's meeting. He can't help having his
thoughts distracted as the raving professor discusses the next means by
which he may save... or is that vaporize... the crew. Either way, he was pondering the relationship Ren held with Kandeen and Raith. Anyway, what was that about beaming through the this temoporal rift?? That didn't matter- For some reason, he knew he would survive through the scientists "experiment" That was never the issue. Out of the corner of his eye he caught a look on Raith's face and heard a thought voiced. "I authorized this?" He smirked slightly. His eyes wandered a bit more around the briefing room. Nah, he didn't like the design. Nothing like the Kalen. Too cosmopolitan for his taste. Eventually the meeting ended, so he took his leave of the briefing room, noting a glance from Kandeen. After that, he finally made his way out. He dodged Ren's line of sight, just to be safe...

The fighter bay was packed with Marines and soldiers of all sorts.
Somewhere in the din of gearing up and conversations, Remi meets up with Kuro.
tr'Remi> ::shouting:: Hey, Ku!
tr'Kuro> ::normal volume:: Remi...
tr'Remi> Need anything special done?
tr'Kuro> Environmental suits and padding for the shuttle... Lots of
padding- No weapons, no cloak... just shields, inertial dampeners, the
whole nine yards.
tr'Remi> ::grins:: You got it
tr'Kuro> ::slaps his shoulder and moves off into the crowd again::
Kuro finishes packing up, bringing with him a large pack, very tightly
packed. Essentially, He grabbed a weeks rations, rifle, kaleh, grenades, tri-cobalt explosives ((Micro-putty!)), Personal shroud, and a few more interesting things. on his way by Elq, he makes sure to remind him to bring his thudd gun as well as his sniping scope. He also tells him to look around for a field medic. After a moment, he notices a nice, neatly formed circle of Rangers around a rather pretentious looking centurion. He pushes his way through the men to address their commanding officer.
tr'Kunto> ::looks over at the dissident and frowns:: Arrain... can I
help au?
tr'Kuro>::frowns and gestures behind himself:: Your shuttle is in my
way- Move it.
MP> ::looks over at Kuro:: address the Arrain with more respect - He is a Ranger ::sneers:: rekkhai...
tr'Kunto> That's enough Jenka ::steps in front of the MP:: He isn't worth it ::looks Kuro in the face:: Au is not the only ranger commander in this shuttle bay- au want your ship- walk around mine.
tr'Kuro>::tilts his head, slightly perplexed by the disrespect from
those whom he could easily delete. After a short pause he shoulders pass Kunto and jacks up the MP:: You fail to note my Rank kllhe, should you ever address me in such a manner again I shall remove your spinal
column. ::tosses him forward a few paces, turning back to Kunto:: And
as for you, I will ask you once more to move your shuttle, and that is
it.
Before the mess can proceed any further, Major t`Ren and a large group
of Rei`Krannsu arrive in the shuttle bay. Kunto holds his ground and
ignores Kuro.
tr'Kunto> Au just injured an old soldier that I could really use in my
team - the only thing au can do, as an officer on my side of the war, to ...'upset' me.
tr'Kuro> ::ignores Ren:: I see that you will not move your shuttle then, alright ::walks back to his platoon::
After a pause, Kuro is conversing with Remi. Somewhere in the middle of their conversation, Remi's com unit chirps.
tr'Ragarok> +taps+ Professor? ::not really sure who's com unit he
activated::
tr'Remi> +taps+ ::charismatically:: Ie?
tr'Ragarok> +taps+ uh...just thought you should try... padding your
ships, so to speak. The temporal distortions you will travel through
might make things a little rough on the way down...
tr'Remi> +taps+ One step ahead of ya'...
tr'Ragarok> exemplary... ::the signal goes dead again::
tr'Remi> ::shrugs and turns to Kuro:: Should we tell Kunto's platoon?
tr'Kuro> ::grins:: Nah...
