SRR AylhrChapter Eight: The Leih's Plan
[Ready Room, SRR Aylhr]

Dais'erie'Riov Conn'Hae i'Caernu tr'Rok took his seat behind the desk in his Ready Room. Arrain tr'Rok and Farien t'Charon had followed him into the room and now stood before him at attention. He waved them to an informal At Ease position, not wasting time by permitting them seating. Had the Farien not been with them then he would have more than likely offered his v'Di'ranov (Adopted Father), and Hru'hfirh (House Lord) of the Rok House, a chair and a glass of the Rhennish both preferred over the harsher tasting Aylihl.

"The chase is on. The t'Rakla will be ours within a short few hours," he paused for a moment, thinking how he would word his next statement, "If we desire to capture the Warbird."

The Saehne-a standing before him both raised eyebrows questioningly, though neither would ever say a word against their Leih. "To my way of thinking it may be better for the ship to be allowed to escape."

Arrain tr'Rok came to the realisation of what Conn'Hae's plan was, "Reh see an opportunity for io of the Dev to finally be of proper service to the Republic. Na??"

"My thought's exactly, Arrain. What is the status of the 'Dev'? How quickly can we have one of them disguised and put onto that ship?" The older Rihan thought for a few moments and looked the young man in the eye, " Reh will have tr`Rordra prepared within the day arham Leih." He turned to t`Charon, "Au will liaise with the Taeron in having his face altered, if necessary, understood?" The Farein nodded silently. "Reh will brief him and complete his training in the mean time Rekkhai," as he turned back to Conn'Hae, his faelirh (adopted son) and spouse of his only daughter.

Conn'Hae thought for a moment taking in the information and assessing the chances of success, "We will need more information before crossing into the Neutral Zone. Farein t'Charon, before we can cross we will require permissions from the Galae'Leih. Relay a subspace message back to Khre'Riov tr'Paya requesting such. Once we have the permission au will be charged with finding out the number and race of our enemies. The information au gather must be given to the Arrain here so that he can prepare the 'Agent' quickly. All the ships gathered here about can easily outpace a D'Deridex, so we must make it look like we plan to destroy them. Thuryn, will au be able to get into the t'Rakla's computers?"

Once again the eyes of the older man lit up, "Ie, Reh believe Reh have access codes that will override the t`Rakla's command protocols and allow me to create a blind spot," looking at the Leih's expression of surprise at such a revelation, " arham memory of things long past is beginning to return. Au understand, Reh am sure."

"We will need to feed false information to the enemies sensors when the time is right. Au are both aware of ninte duties, go about the tasks given. Do na raise the suspicions of the crew, especially where the 'Dev' are concerned. Reh would prefer to keep our team between ourselves for the present."

The pair raised their fists in a traditional Rihannsu salute before turning in unison, and marching from the Ready Room. Conn'Hae sat for some time thinking about his plan. Crossing the Neutral Zone was not a problem, if tr'Paya gave them permission. He should have little problem from the Lloann'na, as they would remain cloaked as much as was possible. Also the thieves of the t'Rakla probably wouldn't care for a Federation Starship to locate them. The Lloann'na frowned on mass murder somewhat, even if it was of a crew of Romulans, as they called the Declared. If the Rihannsu had heard of the deaths of 5,500 Lloann'na they would na have blinked an eyelid, but when the situation was reversed, as it was now.... he chuckled, the most recent enemy of the Republic would search just as hard for the perpetrators of the crime as he was now. Unfortunately for whoever had taken the Warbird, the 3rd (Belian) Strike Wing had found them first.

He blinked as his comm unit thweeped, EnArrain t'Vrin reporting and requesting his presence back on the Oira.
