[Oira, SRR Aylhr, Romulan Neutral Zone]
"Message coming in for the Hhdael`Ifvhelhr'Saehne from the Sentaire."
called out Erien t'Mneui, the Khhae'Saehne.
"Patch it through to my console," requested Arrain tr'Rok as he
looked down to see the words and figures appear on his screen.
After a quick run through of the information before him tr'Rok spoke
out, the professionalism coming through in his voice after his long
years of service, "Rekkhai, the EnArrain tr'Pausinaus aboard the
Sentaire believes they have found the t'Rakla, Co-ordinates 184.261."
The Leih was sitting in his Command Throne, Dais'erie'Riov Conn'Hae
i'Caernu tr'Rok turned to look back at his v'Di'ranov, and head of
the House to which he was now a member, "Can au confirm this,
Arrain?" he asked, a slight twinge of excitement giving away his
youth and enthusiasm.
"Na with io-pre (100) percent accuracy, Rekkhai. The last information
Reh received from the Sentaire was that they had a Yrh'idiann
Freighter on sensors which was heading for the Rihannsu side of the
border. The SRR Hrao'd'era and the Terha were dispatched to intercept.
This new information from the Sentaire seems to indicate that the
Yrh'idiann was in fact the t'Rakla. Reh would surmise that whoever
stole the vessel, and murdered her crew, had modified the transponder
signature of the ship. The Sentaire has requested permission to cross
the border and engage the t'Rakla."
Conn'Hae nodded in agreement, his eyes narrowing, "Whoever the thief
is, they are very clever, and must have some knowledge of our ships
systems. To have come this far from the Koahht and to realise that we
would be able to detect them whether they were cloaked or not, shows
a great deal of cunning. Perhaps they are Yrh'idiann-a. Whatever
species they are reh would stake arham next promotion on the fact
that they can see us as well."
He thought for a couple of minutes, turning his Throne to stare out
of the viewscreen into the depths of space.
"Khhae'Saehne, Hail the Sentaire, Permission to cross the Stelai
Ler'Lloann(Neutral Zone) is denied. Tell them to continue to monitor
the ship and inform us the moment it begins to flee. The Hrao'd'era
and the Terha are to move into flanking positions around the Sentaire
to assist if necessary. Gonaiih'Saehne set a course to rendevous with
the Sentaire, Warp 7, engage at ninte will."
He listened to the Saehne-a acknowledge the orders before turning to
the Rhaetelh'Saehne, "EnArrain t'Vrin, au have the Oira, reh must
speak with the Hhdael`Ifvhelhr'Saehne and the Diase'Dheno'Saehne in
private. Reh will inform au of the outcome of the conversation in due
course."
t'Vrin looked back at her Leih, slightly startled by this decision.
She should have been involved with any command level planning that
was to be made. Conn'Hae's curt, and mildly insulting, request had
given her no avenue to argue back. As the Leih stepped towards his
Ready Room, she slipped over wordlessly into the vacant Throne, her
lips pursed tight to stop herself snapping at any of the Oira crew,
at least until the Dais'erie'Riov had left the room.
She heard him call for the two Saehne-a to join him in the meeting
that she should have been privy to herself, and was not happy.
"All Departments, Report!" She barked out, waiting to hear the
outcome of her command.
