[Quarters]
Thuryn sat at his desk reading a review of the Dev's most recent training performance figures. The
door chime to his quarters sounded. As he authorised the entrance of the caller he turned over the
ISD before him to prevent anyone reading it. A young officer who he recognised fron the Ifvelhr-a
staff entered with another ISD in his hand. Saluting smartly the young saehne reported that Jarok
had sent this report to tr`Rok. As the old man dismissed the young saehne he smiled. Jarok did not
like it but he had produced the required report on time. few things gave as much pleasure as
upsetting that one man.
[a few Moments later]
tr`Rok returned to reading his Dev report:
tr`Ronda - health good, reactions very good, stealth techniques very good, hand to hand sub-master
level, blades master level, energy weapons very good.
t`Charon - health very good, reactions superb, stealth techniques sub-master level, hand to hand
master level, blades master level, energy weapons excellent, codes and encryption excellent.
As he continued to read the old man felt the beginnings of a memory stir, before him in his hand
the ISD shifted slightly in shape and wieght and suddenly he was looking at a device 50 years out
of date. On the ISD were a list of names. He read the list slowly, it was familiar, he could not
say why. As he looked at his own arm he realised that he wore not the uniform of the Galae but of
the Tal'Shiar. His surroundings were familiar, not hisquarters on the Aylhr but a parade ground. A
review of young erie`Erein-a stood before him awaiting his orders.
Lights flashed behind his eyes and the old man slumped back into his chair. The voice of his Leih
forced him back to reality, "Arrain tr`Rok to the Oira!" Thuryn did not wait to think about his
recent flashback. he rose and headed along the corridor to the turbolift,"Oira!"
