Sind
Zohar, the Caliph of Sind, is easily one of the most powerful men in the world. His personal armies are numerous, fierce, and fanatic, and he himself is rumored to be both a warrior and wizard of tremendous might.
His family line has some unusual affinity and control over genies of all kind, and this further enhances his power and reach. Fortunately, he is content with his current domain, having learned from his predecessors that the west is also very powerful and jealous of its influence.
The laws of Sind are very harsh, more so for the poor than for the wealthy. Foreigners are usually seen as troublemakers rather than welcome guests, unless of course, they have the favor of the local pasha....
Sind is separated from Thalan and Sutech by the terrible desert of Gedrosa, which lies north and east of the Gate of Tears.
