The Zodiac Stone
This relic is known in legends dating back to the earliest records of the Ligurian Empire, over a thousand years. The tales of its power are myriad, but most concern animal prowess and control, though many speak of mutations and alterations that befall the possessors. Ahuras of the Shining Teeth, the last known possessor of the Zodiac Stone, was known not only for his gleaming golden fangs, from whence he drew his name, but for the scorpion sting growing from his backside....
Many believe the location of the Stone could likely be discerned from the journal kept by Ahuras, a copious and meticulous taker of notes. The journal, however, was taken by barbarians of Khur while in a caravan traveling to Zohar, the Caliph of Sind, though it is thought unlikely that those savages could realize what they had found.
