These can just be read or the student can request that he be taught them either ICly or OOCly if he feels he does not have a strong grasp of them just from reading the files.
Once the student feels he is ready, he may request to be tested. Anyone of Trained subrank or higher may test the student on their OOC grasp of the knowledge and ability to emote grasping, releasing and the flame and the void. If the student does not demonstrate sufficient knowledge and skill, the teacher should give tips and suggestions and allow the student more time to study the material. Two irl days should be required after failing a test before being retested. If the student is ready in the teacher's opinion, the GL(s) should be informed (by mail if not online, or tell or guild channel if online) so that they may set the proper gskills and subrank. Grasp/release should be set to 80 at this point. Void should also be set to 80, although it could be set earlier if the student opted to have that lesson taught ICly.
