On of the "Five Bothers" of the Corellian system, Drall draws its name from the sensible alien species that live on the planet. The Drall are short, fur covered creatures that descended from burrowing mammals. Despite their size they carry themselves with pride and dignity.
They are very orderly and practical . It is said the planet has no prehistory as the Drall have gone to great lengths to record every event that has happened on the planet since the beginning of intelligence on Drall. They are cautious and rarely travel far from their home system. Though some Dralls have been seen in J'uoch's mining camp on Dellait and on other locations throughout the galaxy.
The planet is a quiet world that is neither a hub for commerce nor is it a significant industrial producer. The most popular place on the planet is the Boiling Sea which most visitors to the planet come to visit. The Boiling Sea is a landlocked body of water that actually bubbles and steams during the hottest summer months. Other attractions on the planet include abundant species of avians, including sixty-eight sub-species of the colorful Ibbots.
During the Corellian crisis Chief of State Leia Organa Solo hired a Drall named Ebrihim to tutor her three young children during their stay. Just days after they had arrived violence erupted and the anti alien Human League attacked. Chewbacca was able to get the Solo children and Ebrihim away in the Millennium Falcon. Ebrihim with some help of his droid Q9-X2 led Chewbacca and the children to his aunt's estate on Drall.
His Aunt, Duchess Marcha discussed the crisis with her nephew and with their sharp minds came upon a plan of action. They found Drall's planetary repulsor, which eons ago had been used o move the planet to where it is now. Seven year old Anakin Solo, who had a knack for machines, got the device working again. Unfortunately Anakin's experiments attracted the attention of their Uncle, Thrackan Sal-Solo, the leader of the Human League.
Thrackan planned on double crossing his Sacorrian triad bosses, who were the masterminds behind the star-buster plot, and a working planetary repulsor was the key to his plan. His troops couldn't find the repulsor on Corellia, so he ordered an assault boat to seize the one on Drall. Chewbacca, the two Drall and the children were captured and imprisoned behind a force field, Q9 however had gone unnoticed. With Q9's help, the Solos escaped and blasted of with in the Millennium Falcon. Thrackan pursued the Solo children in the assault craft but the Solos had inherited their father's knack for piloting. With Jacen and Jaina used an expert inside loop to disable the pursuing craft, just before both ships were taken aboard the Bakuran ship the Intruder.
Anakin Solo was returned to the planet's surface in a long shot of a plan. Anakin, it was hoped could use the Drall repulsor to disable Centerpoint Station before it fired a supernova inducing energy burst. At the last second and with millions of lives at stake , Anakin was able to use the force and fire a precise interference shot at Centerpoint Station's deadly volley and disperse the beam into a harmless shte cloud of white light.
